Memorial Day is a time to pause and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives while serving our country. Their sacrifice has helped protect the freedoms we enjoy each day, and we are grateful for their courage, service, and love of country.
At Muncie Baptist Church, we honor the memory of those who served and never returned home. We also remember the families who carried the weight of sacrifice and loss. Their strength and devotion should never be forgotten.
As we gather with family and friends this weekend, may we take time to reflect on the blessings we have because of those who gave so much. Freedom is never free, and Memorial Day reminds us to live with gratitude and appreciation.
We also remember that true peace is found in God. In times of remembrance, sorrow, and gratitude, He remains our comfort and strength.
We pray for our nation, for military families, for veterans, and for all who carry memories of loved ones who served.
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
— John 15:13
This Memorial Day, may we remember with thankful hearts and honor those who gave all.
