Muncie Baptist Church has been here a long, long time, and we are a friendly family of strong believers who want to honor our Lord Jesus Christ and encourage each other to grow in our walk with Him.

What are your services like?

Our services are very traditional, and last about an hour.  God's word is at the center of all of our gatherings. Each service includes a time of prayer, preaching and giving. Our services often include special music and a children's message.  We serve communion the first Sunday of every month, and all believers are invited to join us at the Lord's Table.  You'll find the NIV Bible in our pew backs, and we reference that translation most often during sermons, but you'll see a few different translations in use by our members.  The sermons are built on God’s Word, not the pastor's ideas, and aim at transforming our lives to be more like Jesus Christ.

Where should I park?

There is a parking lot on the south side of the building that includes handicapped parking spaces close to the doors.  Parking is also available along Main Street in front of the church and along the street north of the building. 

Where should I go when I enter the building?

We have greeters located at both entrances who would be happy to help you find where you need to go.  Between 9:40AM and 10AM on Sunday mornings, there are donuts and coffee in the Fellowship Hall that we encourage our guest to enjoy with us!  You can even meet and talk to Pastor Todd and Pastor Josh before the service!  

Do you provide childcare?

We do!  Clean, well-staffed nurseries for infants and toddlers are provided during all church services.

What should I wear?

You'll see a little bit of everything here.  You'll see a lot of jeans, but you'll likely see a few dressed up a little more.  We are far more concerned about you and your presence with us than we are with what you wear. As a church, we gather to worship the Lord, so dress comfortably, and in a way that honors God.

This is a friendly Place!

We've been here a long time, and visitors and new members quickly become part of our family.  It's important to us that you feel welcome when visiting. We invite you to join us before the service for coffee and donuts if you like.  You can also visit with Pastor Todd if you have questions before or after the service.  We hope this is a place where you will feel relaxed and comfortable. The music and worship are built around Biblical themes that are timeless. We are glad to have you join us in worship! You will be greeted and welcomed.

Biblical Teaching

Here at Muncie Baptist Church, we place a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God's Word. There are opportunities for Bible Study outside of the worship service. We also have a youth group, and offer Vacation Bible School over the summers.  Check the events calendar for upcoming events, and there are also more details about the ministries at Muncie Baptist Church on that tab.
